In the stillness of breath
I experience the essence of death
My all surrenders instantly to its call unquestioningly
Third dimension images no longer weigh me down heavily
I float willingly into the experience of nothingness
Filled with light love and overwhelming tenderness
Pain of the past instantly becomes dismembered
Kindness is all that is harbored and remembered
Joyfully I enter into this state of total bliss
Knowing I am whole and that nothing is amiss
The deeper I breathe the further I eagerly go
Into the state that my soul does so well already know
In this state I see all that’s authentic and real
Life’s truths ego can no longer fearfully conceal
Momentary death offers me peace with the chance to grow
Into the authenticity of life that I; myself inherently know
I cherish this moment of simulated death fully aware of my power
Of being able recreate death through breath in any second minute or hour
Death is not final or something to fear; it’s purely a slowing of breath
A time to re-centre after which life can be lived to its optimum best
In the stillness of my silent breath
I awaken to the pure essence of death
