~INNER KNOWING~

There’s a place within each of us from which good things start
Generally people suspect that goodness resides in the heart
But I’m not so sure
I feel it’s much more
That there’s something powerful from which all things grow
A powerful component, that yells out loud ‘Wow, I Know!’
It drives us into life in top gear; at full speed
Instantly its messages we follow and heed
There’s a sense of knowing that says unquestioningly
That inner guidance must be followed immediately!
Inner knowing is that part of who we all are
That opens us to our potential of shining star
For each of us is a star in our own individual right
Knowing we are light should neither bring shock nor fright
We each knew what we were at the time of our birth
It was moment when we fully accepted our value and worth
Yet over time and for many reasons we surrendered our soul;
The essence of love that connects us to life complete and whole
That powerful knowing we each house deep within
Was gifted to us at birth; it’s where miracles begin!
Maybe it’s the heart and maybe it’s not
But one thing I KNOW….
It’s something each of us has got!
