~FROM DARKNESS into LIGHT~

I’ve lived experiences of Darkness in my life of that you can be sure!
But since I’ve opened up to Light the darkness rarely comes anymore!
It would be a lie to say that Darkness in my life is now completely alleviated or gone
Besides I never want to forget the euphoria that exists when I turn the Light back on!
The Light is the guide in life that without doubt leads me home with incredible ease
Therefore stepping into Darkness knowingly is like choosing to catch a fatal disease
However the Dark Knight of the Soul that resides within us all
Likes to step out and challenge me; in fact he has a ball
Especially if I answer his egotistical fear based voice of control
Dark Knight abhors seeing an empowered brightly illumined soul
My Warrior of Peace is the higher conscious love driven part of me
And from the hold of my Dark Knight he always does set me free
The Darkness has served me and it has served me extremely well
Without it in my life I wouldn’t have an awareness of Light to tell
Life’s Loving Light is the strength on which we all can depend and draw
When our Warrior of Peace defeats Dark Knight in any emotional war!
